Hello friends! Happy Monday! I'm back with another birthday card today and I'm playing along with a few challenges. The pattern on the moodboard at inkspirational challenge took me to a kaiserkraft stencil in my stash. I used the stencil and distress inks to create the stenciled pattern at the center of the card. I sprayed some water over it to allow the distress inks to react. I adore butterflies and I wanted to use them as an element of freedom for the ATCAS challenge. I heat embossed a butterfly image with a contrasting embossing powder- color blend verdigris from WOW, so that it stands out against the stencil pattern. I placed the stamped sentiment (kaisercraft) at the centre. Playing along with the below challenges: Inkspirational Challenge #290 Seize the Birthday #262 ATCAS #238 HLS may birthday Thank you very much for stopping by. I would love to know your thoughts about my project. Stay safe and take care...
Hello Crafty friends! Here's my recent project- I used Altenew Majestic Blooms stamp set for my card. I stamped this beautiful flower with Versamark and heat embossed using Rangers Gold embossing powder . I added color with Alcohol markers and fussy cut the image. T he gold embossing powder seemed pretty dull as I ended up coloring most of it with the alcohol markers. T o restore the gold shine I lightly highlighted the embossed outline with Zig painty marker . I stamped the leaves with versafine ink and coloured them with Zig clean brush pens. For the background, I made a horizontal line using floral die cuts over a white card panel. I then stamped little pink leaves and placed an oval scalloped die cut and added some ink splatter as well. I wanted to keep the sentiment simple, so used this one from MFT . Playing along with: Just add ink #642 Cupcakeinspirations #563 ...

The blended background is created with distress inks- mowed lawn, cracked pistachio, mustard seed and salty ocean. I love wooden inspired backgrounds. I u sed this wonderful paper 'wood works' from scrappy tales to make my hand cut p icket fence. For the border, I used the scalloped frame from Gina Marie designs. A little about my inspiration for this card- I come across a lot of squirrels, birds and butterf...
