Mandala cards

Image
Hello ! I'm sharing two cards today that feature a single  stamp. I've used the Elizabeth mandala stamp from simon says stamp. I adore this stamp! Here's card no. 1: Stamped the image with versafine and heat embossed with WOW clear embossing powder. Colored it using copic markers. The sentiment stamp is from Kaisercraft and the word die is from dressmycraft. Next up, card no. 2: Stamped the image with versamark this time and heat embossed with WOW clear embossing powder. Ink blended using distress inks (mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, cracked pistachio). The sentiment stamp is from Simon says stamp and the word die is from dressmycraft. Hydrangea love

Hello friends! I made a card featuring my favorite flowers -hydrangeas. This time I attempted watercoloring. I used distress inks to watercolour the flowers. Heat embossing the stamped image makes watercoloring way easier for beginners like me. Stamp used- Mondo hydrangea from essentials by ellen and sentiment stamp by Simon says stamp. Rainbow Card #2

Hey everyone! Sharing another rainbow card today!  I got to know about the iron off embossed resist technique from a YouTube video by Jennifer McGuire. I absolutely adore her cardmaking style. Here's my attempt with this technique: I Heat embossed the Hero arts blowing in the wind bold prints background stamp on watercolour paper. Then I swiped across mini distress inks on the paper and spritzed water to blend the colours. I let it air dry. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock (scrap  from my previous post ) and embossed it using a  stencil from craftangles. Some nuvo crystal drops to embellish.  Playing along with: seize the birthday #197 cupcakeinspirations #500 Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Rainbow Card #1

Hello! Happy Sunday everyone! I always thought that adding too many colors on the project could lead to a big mess. Well, this was until I came across card makers creating some stunning rainbow cards on IG.  So when I can't finalise a particular color or combination, I go ahead and use some fun rainbow colors!  I made one such rainbow card for my team leader at work: I used watercolor paper to color it with distress inks (using the blending tool). The frame die cuts are from Gina Marie designs and the dahlia stem die is from simon says stamp. To add some shimmer to the flower, I used the negative of the die cut to apply craftangles fairy dust glimmer paste for the flower.  The sentiment from Kaisercraft is heat embossed on black cardstock. Added some white pearls and Nuvo drops (morning dew) as embellishments. (P.S.: I used the centre part from the die cut frame for another card. Coming up in my next post) Playing along with: seize the birthday #197 AAA birthday #16   (Bright, Mas
