Timeout challenges GD: Card #2

Image
Hello crafty friends! I’m Guest designing for the current photo inspiration challenge at the timeout challenges and here’s my second card: Which is inspired by this Chair photo: I ink blended some distress inks on white cardstock and then die cut the paper into leaves. Then I placed the leaves around the sentiment that is heat embossed on a circular die cut. I have also lightly stenciled a hexagon pattern on the circle die cut. For the card base, I used a grey cardstock and on the right side is a striped panel which I made using the remaining ink blended paper. You can checkout my first card inspired by the chair photo  here . Thank you so very much for stopping by. I hope you will play along. Stay safe and take care.

Guest designer- Timeout challenges

Hello! I Hope everyone’s doing well. I’m thrilled to be the guest designer for the timeoutchallenges ! This is my first time as the GD and I’m so excited to be a part of this challenge. This time, its is a photo inspiration challenge generously sponsored by Uniko and here’s the image: Here's a closer look: There’s so much in this image, patterns, florals, tassels! So much to choose from. The black & white stripes  stood out for me. I've seen crafters use stripes so beautifully in their cards, I totally wanted to make something with the stripes. And then I realized, that I don’t own any black & white striped paper! Amidst the lockdown here, buying striped paper wasn't an option. So I decided to make it! I used 5mm paper quilling strips from my stash to make a striped panel. On either sides of this panel are paper strips embossed with gold embossing powder. Here's my finished card: I used the Uniko freebie digital stamp from the fab

Blissful blue

Hello friends, Sharing a floral card today- I made this card using mudra stamps (heat embossedusing wow embossing powder) and watercolored them using distress inks. This is my first proper attempt at water coloring and though I liked  the end result, I do have a long way to go! For the card base, I didn't have the exact blue color. So I used sky blue cardstock from craftangles and used distress inks to color the edges. I then stamped it with the same distress inks to create some floral-leafy pattern. I diecut the watercoloured panel with alphabet dies and placed the heat embossed sentiment. I also used nuvo crystal drops at the centre of the flowers for some glimmer. Hydrangea hues

Hello! I Hope everyone’s keeping well. Hydrangeas. I adore these flowers. Their changing colors have fascinated me since childhood. I picked my hydrangea stamp and colored some hydrangeas for this card.  Unlike the usual subtle hydrangea colors, I chose to color mine in bright pink and purple  using copic markers.  I  used Mondo Hydrangea stamp from Essentials by Ellen and the sentiment is by simon says stamp.
