Pretty floral birthday card

Image
Hello crafty friends!  I made this card for my adorable granny's birthday.   I used my go to crafty die- Altenew floral fantasy for the floral elements, coloured them with alcohol markers. The die cut sentiment from simon says stamp is heat embossed with wow gold embossing powder.  For the background, I did some ink blending with distress inks and dry embossed cardstock with a stencil from kaiserkraft. For that spring birthday

Image
Hello crafty friends!  It's been a while since I posted on the blog. I took time to follow some of my other crafty hobbies. Do check out my ig account  artocopia . I wanted to make a card for my bff  Crystatin's  birthday this week. I used the floral fantasy die from Altenew to add pretty roses to my slim line bday card. I colored the die cut elements with alcohol markers. Also used gold mirror cardstock as one of the floral elements. For the background, I scored some vertical lines on the cardstock and added some ink splatter as well. The die cut sentiment from simon says stamp. With this card, I confirm that  is definitely my go to crafty die. Playing along with: seizethebirthday#236 Timeoutchallenges #212 happylittlestampers #april Thank you for stopping by. Simple birthday card

Image
Hello! It's been a while since I posted on the blog.      I'm back with quick birthday card this one for my senior at work. I die cut the Altenew floral fantasy elements and colored them with zig clean colour real brush markers. The die cut sentiment from simon says stamp is placed in a frame. Colored and lightly stencilled the frame portion with distress inks. Embellished the card with some pearls.  This card doubled up as a holder for the earrings I made. Couldn't get a better pic, I was in a hurry (as always!) Playing along with: seizethebirthday#218 watercoolerchallenges #wwc320 Thank you so very much for stopping by. Do let me know your comments on this one. Stay safe and take care.  ~Ana

DT post #IQCG81 : Rainbow

Image
Hello everyone! I Hope you are doing well. I always thought that using more colors made my artwork messy. Not so long ago I realized I was wrong. I am amazed at how bright and elegant rainbow colors look in an artwork and this months theme is just perfect for the new design team at iqcg to step in. So excited to be a part of the team. Here's my work for the Indian quilling challenge #IQCG81. The theme for this month is rainbow. I filled up my guitar with all the colours. Do participate and link up your take on this challenge here . Thank you so much for stopping by. Stay safe and take care. ~Ana

Quilled art

Image
Hello there, The art of paper quilling is very dear to me. I started with quilling back in 2010 (at a very small scale, for friends and family). Now with the advent of social media, blogs and Instagram, I've come across so much talent and inspiration. I'm amazed at how artists create wonders with this form of art.  Here are my humble artworks for the  Indian quilling challenge DT call . : The first one is a custom made Birthday card with France theme. A quilled butterfly made for one of the iqcg challenges last year And lastly, quilled typography  Thanks for stopping by. ~Ana
